  • WHAT CAN ROCKITT DISTRIBUTION DO FOR ME?

We help you reach millions of avid listeners by getting your sound on iTunes. 

 

  • WHY ROCKITT DISTRIBUTION?

We know we're not alone out there.  There are plenty of other awesome aggregators eager to help you sell your sound.  What sets us apart is our focus on building true relationships with our artists.   We will be with you every step of the way, after all, our success depends entirely on yours; If you don't get paid, we don't get paid.

 

  • WHICH STORES DOES ROCKITT DISTRIBUTE TO?

For the time being, we distribute exclusively to iTunes.  More stores will be added soon!

 

  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO DISTRIBUTE THROUGH ROCKITT DISTRIBUTION?

Distribution costs $20 per year per submission, you receive 93% of net sales.  

We also offer expedited delivery for a one-time $10 fee,  Insta-Live will get your releases live in iTunes in within 24 hours and can be added on to any plan.   

No money is due at the time of submission - all fees incurred in a given month will be deducted from that month's payouts.  If the payout is insufficient to cover the fees, any outstanding amount will be collected in subsequent months.  If you submitted your release on or after September 1st 2019, renewal fees will be assessed in the releases' anniversary month and deducted from that month's payout.  

We encode your sound, provide UPC and ISRC codes and submit your sound to iTunes.  We can also make cool, iTunes compliant, cover art for you if graphic design is just not your thing.    

 

  • WHEN AND HOW MUCH WILL I GET PAID?

Payouts are made during the first week of each month.

The exact payouts vary by country of sale and type of media.

 

  • HOW WILL I GET PAID?

We will be making payments to the PayPal email address you provided.  You may request a payment hold or a partial payment by emailing support@rockittdistribution.com within 3 business days of statement receipt.

 

  • HOW DO I SUBMIT MY SOUND?

Easy.  Just send us an email.  We will contact you within 24 hours to request your media.  You can expect to see your sound live in the iTunes store within 48-72 hours.  Please note that iTunes may select your release for review, this selection is random and may result in delays of up to three weeks.  

 

  • WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

A link to your sound or .WAV file and a 3000x3000 .JPG file (if you choose to submit your own cover art).  

 

  • WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

We have a zero tolerance policy for copyright infringement and reserve the right to terminate your relationship with Rockitt Distribution immediately if we find that you are attempting to submit content that you do not own rights to.  All submitted content (including cover art) will be carefully reviewed.  

If you have any doubts regarding your content, please be sure to indicate your concerns when contacting us to submit your sound.  

You can rest assured that we will do everything in our power to protect your rights just as well.  By agreeing to the Rockitt Distribution Terms and Conditions, you grant us exclusive rights to distribute your sound through Rockitt Distribution.  This does not imply you are giving up your rights to your sound.  You are free to sell your sound on your own website, however, if you choose to submit it through another aggregator, you must first request that sound be removed from our service.  

You may terminate your relationship with Rockitt Distribution at any time.  There are no fees associated with termination.  Payouts will continue until all sales proceeds have been paid.  Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for all the nitty gritty.
